On the night of October 5, Russian forces once again attacked Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, the number of casualties has risen, according to the Telegram post by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

“Tonight, the enemy once again attacked Zaporizhzhia: at least ten strikes on the city. One person was killed, nine were injured,” the statement reads.

Fedorov clarified that the enemy attack damaged apartment buildings and private houses, and vehicles were set on fire. In addition, windows were shattered, yards were destroyed, and there were interruptions in the electricity and water supply.

“But from the very first minutes after the attack, our rescuers, utility workers, medical staff, energy workers, and police have been working on site. Everyone is doing their job - calmly, efficiently, and professionally, without panic,” wrote the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Zaporizhzhia attack

On the night of September 28, Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with MLRS and Kalibr cruise missiles. The attack destroyed a private house and damaged a gas station.

Closer to morning, the enemy struck with missiles, causing a fire in an apartment building. Rescuers were only able to extinguish the fire during the day.

As a result of the enemy shelling, 42 people sought medical assistance.
