The victory plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is intended primarily for the country's partners. It will help them understand what Kyiv expects from them, stated Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Valerii Zaluzhnyi during a discussion at Chatham House.

According to Zaluzhnyi, the President of Ukraine decided to create a victory plan so that Ukraine’s partners could take action. This initiative is intended for them, which is why it was first revealed to the partners rather than the Ukrainian public.

"We need a strategy; without it, it will be difficult for Ukraine to do anything. What this means is that the US needs to do something, Germany needs to do something, someone needs to reduce purchases of Russian oil, and someone needs to impose tougher sanctions on Russia. That’s what the plan is about," Zaluzhnyi clarified.

He also emphasized that making predictions in war is incredibly difficult, and the only thing that works is the math.

Victory plan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy yesterday, on October 16, revealed the details of the victory plan to the Ukrainian public.

Before this, he had already presented the victory plan to US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

According to Yevhenia Kravchuk, an MP from the Servant of the People party, who spoke to RBC-Ukraine's YouTube channel, it is expected that allies may provide their response to the plan at the Ramstein meeting, which will be held at the level of the leaders for the first time.

Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that the Ramstein meeting is scheduled for November.
