Frontline situation

According to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 61 combat clashes during the past day on January 13. Meanwhile, the enemy is actively attempting to storm and capture new territories in the Donetsk region.

At the same time, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) suggest that Russians may be forming airborne assault brigades, acting as specialized units for landing and reconnaissance behind Ukrainian defense lines.

Particularly due to the activity of Ukrainian drones, Russia is reported to be shooting down its own UAVs on the left bank of the Dnipro.
