In the Office of the President of Ukraine, they plan to reform the structure significantly, involving military personnel with combat experience in the work, the head of the Office, Andriy Yermak states.

Yermak explained that the idea lies in the fact that a significant number of employees of the Office would consist of servicemen with confirmed combat experience of the full-scale war or veterans of combat actions.

"It is about employees of all levels. In all departments without exception. Volodymyr Zelenskyy supported this idea. This is fair. Because precisely these people are the measure of honor, morality, and devotion to Ukraine," stated Yermak.

As an example, he cited his deputy, Colonel Pavlo Palisa, who earlier commanded the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodnyi Yar. At the war, he was responsible for the lives of subordinates and the success of operations, and now demonstrates in the Office the same speed, honesty, and principledness.

Yermak added that such culture should spread to the entire civil service, as well as in business, IT, and the cultural sphere, where veterans can strengthen the efficiency and fairness of teams.

Office of the President

This is a body that ensures the work of the head of state and the realization of his constitutional powers. It is located in Kyiv on Bankova Street.

The structure of the Office of the President was established in 2019 by Volodymyr Zelenskyy's decision to reorganize the Presidential Administration, which had existed since 1991 and had undergone several name and format changes.

The primary tasks of the Office include providing organizational, analytical, legal, and informational support to the president, preparing legislative initiatives, analyzing internal and external processes, and coordinating interactions with state bodies and the public.

The leadership of the Office consists of the head, his deputy, and the chief of staff. The first head was Andriy Bohdan, and since 2020, this position has been held by Andriy Yermak.

The economic support for the Office's activities is provided by the State Affairs Directorate.
