Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov promised regular, large-scale strikes against Ukraine following a massive attack by Ukrainian drones on Moscow, Life.ru reports.
Lavrov commented on Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow, stating that "words alone are not enough in response to Kyiv’s actions."
According to him, Russia will carry out "mass group strikes on a regular basis" against targets on which the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine depends.
"This task was set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief; our armed forces are carrying it out and will continue to carry it out," the minister added, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Lavrov’s reaction came after Moscow experienced the most massive Ukrainian drone attack since the start of the full-scale war on the night of June 18.
More than 180 drones were headed toward the Russian capital. For the second time in a week, the Kapotnya oil refinery in Moscow was hit — at least five fire hotspots broke out at the facility, and key equipment was damaged.
