Russian forces launched another strike on the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on the morning of Monday, June 22. The attack destroyed a house where a woman was staying, according to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov.

This morning at approximately 6:20 a.m. local time, he reported that Russian forces had once again struck the city. In particular, the enemy hit a non-residential building and attacked a residential house. Fires broke out in both cases.

However, it later emerged that there were casualties as a result of the Russian strike on a private residential area where a fire had broken out.

"A house caught fire as a result of a Russian drone strike on a private sector area of the regional center. According to preliminary information, three people were injured. There is information that one woman remains inside the house where the fire broke out," the post said.

Later, Fedorov clarified that the woman who had been inside the destroyed house was killed.

Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia

During the night of June 21-22, Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia. Ordinary residential buildings were hit, one of which was destroyed. People were injured as a result of the attack.

On June 20, the enemy dropped aerial bombs on the city. As a result, Russian forces damaged 12 apartment buildings, vehicles, and other facilities.

Another attack took place on June 16. At that time, a residential building and a shopping center caught fire as a result of the attack.
