Woman dropped two clothing sizes after changing her breakfast: What she eats

A mother of two swapped her sugary breakfast for a healthier one and lost weight without dieting or counting calories. Her clothing size dropped from XL to M in less than five months, reports LancsLive.
What that woman ate
34-year-old Jodie Travers says everything changed when she rethought her morning habits.
I used to start every morning with a massive bowl of cereal and toast — quick, easy, and full of sugar. But within an hour I’d be craving biscuits, and by mid-morning I’d feel bloated and tired, she said.
Deciding to change her diet, Jodie replaced carbs with eggs, avocado, yogurt, and sometimes bacon and spinach.
Weight loss is linked to blood sugar levels. Protein releases sugar into the bloodstream more slowly, while grains contain a lot of sugar that causes a quick spike, which can lead to weight gain over time.
I didn’t expect it to make such a difference, but I stopped snacking, felt lighter, and the weight just started coming off. I feel like a different person, the woman explained.
Now she buys clothes she never would have dared to wear before.
Once the excess weight was gone, she also started moving more and gradually added running into her routine. Now she runs three times a week and is even aiming for a half marathon.

What Jodie's kids eat now
The woman has two children, aged six and four. She now cooks protein-rich meals like eggs, fruit, yogurt, or mini omelets instead of sugary cereals and jam on toast.
She said they were more focused in school, less cranky mid-morning, and she’s proud to be setting a healthier example.
For those who still want to eat cereal in the morning, try something with less sugar, like homemade granola or muesli.
