Woman dies weeks after Russian strike on Western Ukraine

A woman injured in the Russian attack on Ivano-Frankivsk region on June 29 has died in hospital, reported Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration.
"Due to injuries sustained in the enemy attack on Prykarpattia on June 29, Hanna Kosach from the village of Naraivka in the Bilshivtsi community has passed away," Onyshchuk reported.
According to her, the woman was hospitalized that morning with multiple injuries. Unfortunately, her life could not be saved.
Attack on Ukraine on June 29
On the night of June 29, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. The enemy used drones and missiles, many of which were directed at the western regions of the country.
Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytskyi regions were hit — residential buildings and infrastructure objects were damaged. Russia also attacked Smila, Kremenchuk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv.
According to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, the attack damaged homes and a church, and a woman was injured.
In addition, during the defense against the attack, Ukrainian F-16 pilot Maksym Ustymenko tragically died. He managed to steer the aircraft away from residential areas but was unable to eject.
