Witkoff and Kushner most likely to arrive in Kyiv this Sunday, source says

US President's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will most likely still arrive in Ukraine. Their visit is tentatively expected as early as this Sunday, September 6, according to an informed source.
According to the source, the issue of exactly how Witkoff and Kushner will get to Kyiv is still being worked out.
It was previously reported that US presidential representatives may visit Russia and Ukraine in the coming days.
US President's special envoys were considering traveling to Moscow and Kyiv on September 5-6. At the same time, these plans were in question amid attempts by the Russian side to prevent the visit.
In addition, today Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that some delegations had postponed their trips to Ukraine. When journalists asked whether this could include Witkoff and Kushner, the foreign minister did not give a direct answer.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported that Witkoff and Kushner's planned visit to Ukraine had been postponed. At the same time, media reports said the trip had not been canceled, but its timing had changed amid intensified Russian missile and drone strikes on Kyiv.
On September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia and Ukraine should negotiate an end to the war on their own. According to Putin, other countries should only provide assistance.
