Newly unsealed court documents reveal that a 17-year-old Nikita Casap, accused of murdering his parents and plotting to assassinate Donald Trump, intended to escape to Ukraine, CNN reports.

Seventeen-year-old Nikita Casap is accused of killing his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, in February as the first step in a violent plan to overthrow the US government.

Investigators say he viewed the killings as a way to gain financial freedom to carry out political attacks. The parents’ decomposed bodies were found weeks later during a welfare check.

Court documents describe Casap’s plan in chilling detail. Authorities recovered a three-page handwritten manifesto from his phone promoting Trump’s assassination to trigger a political revolution and "save the white race."

The document praised Adolf Hitler and called for chaos by eliminating both the president and vice president.

Casap had allegedly been in contact with a Russian man via Telegram, discussing attacks on US institutions. He was also linked to the neo-Nazi network "The Order of Nine Angles."

His phone contained disturbing "gore edit" videos shared on Snapchat, including violent footage set to Russian music.

A classmate told investigators Casap openly talked about stealing a gun to kill his parents and bragged that if "10 coordinated attacks" were ever reported, it would be his doing.

Federal agents also found instructions for weaponizing drones and images of credit cards and bank login credentials belonging to Mayer, suggesting Casap was planning to fund his attack using stolen information.

In a Telegram message, Casap asked: "So while in Ukraine, I’ll be able to live a normal life? Even when it’s found out I did it?"

Casap was arrested in March and now faces nine felony charges at the state level, including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. Federally, he’s charged with conspiracy, attempted assassination of the president, and use of weapons of mass destruction.

He has not entered any pleas. A court hearing is scheduled for May 7.
