Windows introduces program poised to rival Chrome: Details revealed
After many years of availability on macOS and iOS, the unusual Arc browser has finally reached Windows. Just like Chrome, it is based on Chromium and is compatible with all extensions, according to The Verge, an American computer technology website.

Arc is designed to help users organize their browser clutter and focus on a specific website. All standard browser elements are hidden in the sidebar instead of being scattered across the screen.
This panel contains spaces, players for audio and video files, vertical tabs, bookmarks, a command bar, useful tools, and pinned sites that automatically turn into applications.

In the macOS version, users can also customize the appearance of web pages by changing the color palette or experimenting with artificial intelligence functions. These features are not yet available in the Windows version, but it is already possible to use a split screen and picture-in-picture mode.

What else to appear soon
The developers promise to release regular updates to achieve full compliance as soon as possible. They also plan to abandon some of the less popular features. For example, the note-taking utility was recently removed because users prefer to use integration with popular applications such as Notion.
Arc is already available for download on Windows 11 computers, and a Windows 10 version will be released soon. An Arc Search app for Android is also in development. Users can synchronize the iOS version with the Windows app.
Google has added a feature to Chrome that will make the browser much easier to use.
