Will US involvement against Iran impact Ukraine? Zelenskyy answers

The US attempt to intervene in the conflict between Israel and Iran will also affect Ukraine. Tehran is not an ally of Ukraine, as it has provided Russia with support for waging war, according to a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with journalists.
When asked whether possible US involvement in a war against Iran would have an impact, Zelenskyy replied: "Of course, it will."
"Of course, we are against Iran acquiring nuclear weapons. That is, if today they can attack any country, or if they can supply weapons to Russia or another country, or even a terrorist organization — we don’t know who they might arm. So this is very, very dangerous. That’s the first point. But of course, it will also affect us," the president said.
He noted that part of the production facilities for Shaheds in Iran were destroyed, but not all. Iran had previously helped Russia with this, and according to Zelenskyy, this military experience was transferred to North Korea.
"They provided all these things to North Korea. This means that possibly nuclear weapons and all the experience will be given to their allies. And you hear and understand who their allies are. They are not our allies. They are our enemies. So my position is very clear," the head of state added.
Zelenskyy reminded that Tehran supplied Moscow not only with Shaheds but also missiles and licenses to manufacture them.
"The fact that their production capabilities are now weaker is positive for us. But in certain aspects, it may already be too late," the president emphasized.
Israel-Iran confrontation
The conflict between Israel and Iran sharply escalated on the night of June 13, when Israeli Air Force struck nuclear and military sites in Iran. Israel stated this was a forced response to the threat of Tehran developing nuclear weapons.
In response, the very next night Iran launched over 150 rockets into Israeli territory. Shelling continues from both sides.
Amid the escalation, the US, according to Bloomberg, is preparing for a possible military operation against Iran. According to the Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump has approved the strike plan but temporarily postponed its implementation to assess Tehran’s next moves.
The Guardian reports that the US president has doubts about the effectiveness of American weapons — particularly whether they can destroy a key nuclear site in Fordow. The White House said a decision on intervention in the Israel-Iran conflict is expected within two weeks.
