The process of preparing for the second Global Summit on Ukraine is ongoing. Several venues are currently being considered, according to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Heorhii Tykhyi.

"As for the second peace summit, the process is still ongoing, and several venues are being considered. I will stop here, as I can't reveal all the details while the diplomatic process is still underway," said Tykhyi.

He added that Ukraine's position is that Russia could participate in the second summit, but the question is whether it is ready to discuss peace in good faith.

"The issue is not just to bring Russia to the negotiating table but to ensure it conducts these negotiations in good faith. There are two important factors: pressure on the battlefield and pressure on the international stage. These two components," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson noted.

Peace Summit

The first Peace Summit on Ukraine took place on June 15-16. It gathered representatives from nearly a hundred countries, but not all agreed to sign the final document. Among those who abstained were countries from the Global South, including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and India.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is already preparing for the second summit. It was previously reported that the summit is planned to be held in Saudi Arabia by the end of this year.

Ukraine is also planning to prepare a plan for the second Peace Summit that will include all 10 points of the peace formula.
