Russia's Wildberries imposes strict measure after Ukrainian strikes, report says

Russia's largest online marketplace, Wildberries, has banned employees from bringing smartphones to work starting August 3, according to Ostorozhno, Novosti Telegram channel.
As it turned out, company management has already sent an internal message to its employees outlining the new work rules under this ban.
The notice states that employees are prohibited from taking photos or recording videos during air raid alerts. Wildberries says such actions:
- pose a threat to public safety;
- could reveal the positions of air defense systems;
- violate Russian law;
- may result in administrative penalties or, in some cases, criminal liability.
Employees are now allowed to use only basic feature phones without cameras. According to the notice, these devices will still enable workers to stay in touch with their families.
Other Telegram channels are also reporting the smartphone ban, sharing excerpts from the internal message.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on how many Wildberries warehouse facilities the Ukrainian Armed Forces may have destroyed over the past two weeks.
On the night of August 3, Ukraine's Defense Forces also struck one of Wildberries' largest warehouse complexes in Russia.
