Ukraine destroys at least 17% of Russian Wildberries' warehouse space — Forbes

Over the past two weeks, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been attacking the warehouses of Wildberries, Russia's largest marketplace, almost daily. The company cannot hide the fact that it has suffered colossal losses and damage, according to Forbes.
Ukrainian soldiers targeted Wildberries' logistics facilities in Kotovsk, Elektrostal, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and dozens of other cities with their drones.
Data from Data Insight shows that in just a matter of weeks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces damaged between 17% and 22% of the marketplace’s entire logistics infrastructure.
Restoring these facilities could cost between 62.5 and 80.8 billion rubles.
Sellers working with the marketplace have suffered the greatest losses.
According to analysts' estimates, their losses amounted to 215–280 billion rubles.
RWB founder Tatyana Kim stated that the warehouses are insured. However, the problem is that the policies do not cover the risks of drone attacks.
Moreover, four major insurance companies have confirmed that they do not insure Wildberries' facilities at all.
Compensation for large businesses, which account for the bulk of revenue, is not even being discussed at this time.
In light of recent events, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has instructed the relevant ministries and the Central Bank to prepare proposals by August 10 to support those affected.
The agency writes that it was currently unknown exactly how many sellers had lost their goods as a result of the attacks. It adds that Denis Vetrennikov, CEO of SellerDen, an ecosystem of services for marketplace sellers, estimated that several hundred thousand entrepreneurs had been affected.
