Russia has redirected some of its units that fought on the territory of Ukraine to the Kursk region, stated John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator of the US National Security Council.

He said that some Russian units have been redirected from operations in and around Ukraine to the Kursk area.

Kirby added that he could not specify exactly how many soldiers were redeployed to the Kursk region and what their intentions were.
