Iran is indeed a supporter of HAMAS in the conflict between militants and Israel. However, there is currently no direct evidence of Iran's direct involvement in the attacks carried out by the terrorists, states John Kirby, a White House spokesperson.

He mentioned that Iran has been supporting HAMAS and providing resources to them and other terrorist groups in the region for an extended period. Additionally, they have been involved in training militants.

"And so in that regard, clearly, Iran is complicit here, but in terms of specific evidence on this, these sorts of attacks, no, we don't have anything," Kirby stated.

Iran's involvement in the attack on Israel

Iran openly supports the HAMAS group by providing them with funding and weapons. On the first day of the Palestinian incursion, Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated that HAMAS militants have patrons in Iran.

Furthermore, The Wall Street Journal later reported that representatives of Iranian intelligence agencies helped plan the attack on Israel and gave their approval for it during a meeting in Beirut in early October.

In Iran, such information is denied, and they claim not to be involved in these events.
