The White House does not expect any statements regarding permission for Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory, even with the upcoming meeting between US and British leaders in Washington, stated White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby, according to Voice of America's national security correspondent Jeff Seldin.

The US maintains its prohibition on Ukraine using American long-range weapons against Russia.

"There's no change to our policy," the White House spokesperson said.

He also added that he did not expect to see any changes in this policy, even during today's meeting between the US and British leaders.

"I can't speak for the British or the French"," Kirby added.

Partners do not authorize strikes deep into Russia

Ukraine has been receiving long-range missiles from the UK, the US, and France for some time. However, the use of this weaponry for strikes on Russian territory remains restricted.

White House Press Secretary John Kirby reported that the US continues to hold private discussions with Ukraine on this matter.

It is expected that US President Joe Biden will meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The leaders are likely to discuss the possibility of allowing Ukraine's Armed Forces to conduct strikes on Russian territory.
