Western partners avoid discussing use of weapons to strike deep into Russia - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a press conference, responding to a question from an RBC-Ukraine, stated that Western partners avoid giving direct answers regarding the continuation of restrictions on the use of weapons for strikes deep into Russia.
"They try not to talk to me about this, but I raise the issue. The Olympics are over, but the ping-pong remains," Zelenskyy noted, hinting at diplomatic "games" in communication with Western allies.
Strikes deep into Russia
According to Politico, Ukrainian authorities plan to present US national security officials with a list of long-range targets in Russia that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could attack if Washington lifts restrictions on the supply of American weapons. This list is another attempt by Ukraine to convince Washington to allow the use of American weapons against Russia.
Earlier, it was reported that the US permitted Ukraine to strike Russian territory using its weapons during the operation in the Kursk region. However, the White House still has not changed its stance on restrictions regarding strikes deep into Russia with American weaponry.
