The Russian Armed Forces have entered a phase of degradation that even the rapid increase in missile and strike drone production cannot reverse, according to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.

Western military analysts, relying on intelligence data, have recorded the beginning of this degradation phase in the Russian military. This process is comprehensive and concerns the overall quality of the Russian forces.

Notably, the strengthening of Russia’s military-industrial complex, including the production of new missiles and drones, cannot stop this decline. While the quantity of weapons is increasing, the overall condition, capabilities, and qualitative indicators of the army continue to deteriorate.

Previously, several Western experts noted that Russia faces serious problems due to a shortage of experienced junior officers and worn-out heavy armor. Despite Russia placing its economy on a war footing, the technological gap between Russian weapons and modern Western systems continues to widen.

On March 10, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian military plant in Bryansk. The target of the attack was the Kremniy plant, where Russia produces key components for missiles.

Earlier, on February 20, Ukrainian forces struck the Votkinsk plant. It was later revealed that they used domestically produced Ukrainian Flamingo missiles for the attack.
