Russian forces attacking Ukrainian power plants with missiles have been found to contain components from other countries, including those in Asia and the West, according to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andrii Yermak.

"The enemy is striking Ukrainian power plants with missiles containing components from Western and Asian countries," he wrote.

Attack on the Trypillia power plant

On April 11, Russian forces launched another round of mass shelling on Ukraine, using drones and missiles, including Kinzhal. Energy facilities in four regions of Ukraine were again targeted.

The Russian attack completely destroyed the Trypillia Power Plant located in the Kyiv region. Until recently, the Trypillia Power Plant was the largest electricity supplier to the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Zhytomyr regions. It was later revealed that the entire generation of Centrenergo was destroyed due to the massive Russian attack on April 11.

Foreign components in Russian weaponry

Earlier, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported that the most foreign components critical to the Russian Federation are found in Iskander and Kinzhal missiles. Foreign components are also present in Russian aviation.

The majority of components in Russian military equipment are sourced from American companies. It was previously reported that the Russians can produce about 100-120 missiles per month and aim to increase the quantity to 150. More details can be found in the material by RBC-Ukraine.
