'We will reach there as well': Zelenskyy on Russia's retreat to eastern part of Black Sea
Russia is gradually losing control of the Black Sea and retreating to the eastern part of the waters, according to a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"The first - a video conference. The military, intelligence, our security forces, government officials. Special attention,of course, to the front," the President stated.
According to the President, a report on the operation of Ukraine's maritime export corridor was presented, and he expressed gratitude to those working to ensure Ukraine's access to the global market.
"The results are good. Russia is gradually losing control of the Black Sea and retreating to the eastern part of the waters. We will reach there as well," he adds.
"Grain deal"
in July of this year, Russian occupiers announced their withdrawal from the grain agreement. Afterward, terrorists began to target Ukrainian ports and grain infrastructure. Ukraine opened temporary corridors for civilian trading vessels as of August 10.
On October 26, there was information about the supposed suspension of the new corridor due to potential threats from Russian military aircraft and sea mines. However, Ukraine denied the cessation of the grain corridor.
