Was Kursk a topic of discussion in Saudi Arabia? Details from sources

During the negotiations between Ukraine and the US in Saudi Arabia, the issue of any territorial concessions was not raised. The delegations also did not discuss the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Kursk region, a government source told RBC-Ukraine.
According to the source, the issue of any territorial concessions was not raised at the meeting in Jeddah. In particular, the interlocutor dismissed a conspiracy theory circulating on social media, which claimed that the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Kursk region was allegedly agreed upon at that meeting.
"This is complete nonsense," he said.
The source added that it is currently difficult to predict Russia's reaction to the Ukraine-US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire.
"It will be hard for the Russians to clearly say 'no' to this because then they would find themselves on the side of those who are 'pro-war,'" the interlocutor noted.
He suggested that in discussions with the Americans, the Russians might try to put forward their own conditions under which they would supposedly be willing to agree to some form of ceasefire, thus "passing the ball" back to the Ukrainian side.
Ukraine-US negotiations in Saudi Arabia
On March 11, negotiations between the Ukrainian and US delegations took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the US decision to resume military aid to Ukraine. Additionally, intelligence sharing between the two countries will also be restored.
Ukraine has also expressed readiness for a 30-day ceasefire with Russia. The initiative was proposed by the US during the negotiations.
