Waltz says Ukraine minerals deal will be finalized despite Trump's accusations

In recent days, US President Donald Trump accused Ukraine of delaying the signing of a critical minerals deal. At the same time, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz believes that the deal will be finalized, reports Rapid Response 47.
During an interview, a Fox News host asked Waltz whether a deal on Ukraine's rare earth minerals would be reached. He responded positively. The advisor emphasized that US President Donald Trump is determined to finalize the agreement.
"The Ukraine deal is going to get done. The negotiators were working hard over the weekend. That is first and foremost on both Secretary Bessent and the President. It's going to get done. The President is determined to make it so," Waltz said.
Trump demands the signing of the deal
On Friday, April 20, Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy must immediately sign the agreement on rare earth metals. According to him, the delay in signing has already lasted several weeks.
"Ukraine, headed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has not signed the final papers on the very important rare earths deal with the United States on rare earth metals. It is at least three weeks late. Hopefully it will be signed immediately," Trump wrote.
