Russian offensive in northern Ukraine

Recently, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Russia has effectively launched a new offensive in Kharkiv and Sumy regions. According to him, the number of battles has increased across all major directions.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed a similar opinion. As explained by the General Staff, the enemy’s activity has intensified in certain areas of the frontline in recent weeks, but there are no fundamental changes at the front so far.

According to RBC-Ukraine sources, Russia may intensify offensive operations across most directions in late spring or early summer, with initial attacks potentially starting in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
