Vice President of Lukoil allegedly killed in Nizhny Novgorod oil refinery attack, sources
Vice President of Lukoil Vitaliy Robertus may have been killed during explosions at the oil refinery in Russia, according to RBC-Ukraine's sources in Ukrainian special services.
Russian media reported the death of Robertus without specifying the cause. According to sources in Ukrainian special services speaking to RBC-Ukraine, the top manager may have been killed as a result of an attack on the Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. However, the information is currently being verified.
It's worth noting that this is the third top manager of the company to have died recently.
Yesterday, it was revealed that a drone attacked an oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia.
Attacks on oil refineries and bases in Russia
On March 12, a drone hit an oil reservoir in Oryol, causing a fire.
Today, it became known that drones attacked an oil refinery in Ryazan, causing a fire there. Additionally, drones "fell" on the territory of the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery.
According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukraine conducted drone attacks on three oil refineries in Russia simultaneously. These include refineries in Ryazan, Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and Kirishi in the Leningrad region.
