Drone attacked oil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, causing large fire
A drone attacked the Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region this morning, March 12, according to Telegram channel 112.
According to sources, the attack drone hit the oil distillation unit directly. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out on the premises of the enterprise.
The company Lukoil, which owns the Nizhny Novgorod oil refinery, reports that the operation of the technological unit at the enterprise has been suspended due to the incident. The nature of the incident is not specified.
Currently, emergency services are working at the scene, and a fire train has been involved in extinguishing the fire. There is no information about casualties at the moment.
