Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held talks. The head of the US State Department agreed to visit Ukraine.

According to Sybiha, yesterday, September 24, he took part in a meeting of all NATO allies and Ukraine at Rubio's invitation.

The Ukrainian Minister said that he thanked US President Donald Trump for his principled position. During the meeting, further steps to strengthen Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia were discussed.

"After the meeting, I had the opportunity to talk to Marco personally about the implementation of the agreements between our presidents. I invited my colleague to visit Ukraine at a convenient time and am grateful that this invitation was accepted," Sybiha adds.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has not yet visited Ukraine since taking office.

Scott Bessent's visit

Currently, the highest-ranking US official to visit Ukraine during Donald Trump's second presidential term is Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

He came to Ukraine to present the subsoil agreement to Ukrainian officials.

US Special Representative Keith Kellogg has also visited Ukraine several times. In particular, Kellogg visited Kyiv on September 11.
