It was also reported that a Houthi coastal radar station, along with seven cruise missiles and drones, were destroyed over the Red Sea.
As CENTCOM explained, the targeted Houthi facilities had been used by the militants in operations such as attacks on US Navy warships and commercial vessels in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Earlier, it was also reported that US Central Command confirmed airstrikes on Yemen on December 21. The American side clarified that the targets were a missile depot and a command post under the control of the militants. This occurred just a few hours after the Houthis launched a strike on Tel Aviv in Israel.
