Assistance from the US to Ukraine
Previously, RBC-Ukraine reported that the US had been delaying the vote on a bill that provided for financial and military assistance to Ukraine. However, last week the situation changed, and the House of Representatives already supported the said bill.
The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, played a significant role in bringing the bill to a vote. For a long time, he had been blocking the consideration of the bill on assistance to Ukraine. RBC-Ukraine reported on how Speaker Johnson changed his position regarding aid to Ukraine.
Now this bill will be brought to a vote in the Senate, and after its adoption, it will be passed on to US President Joe Biden, who noted that he would sign the bill immediately after its approval by the Senate.
