US assistance to Ukraine
The United States played a key role in supporting Ukraine during a full-scale war, providing significant military, financial, and humanitarian assistance. Since Russia's invasion in February 2022, the United States has provided modern weapons, including artillery, air defense systems, armored vehicles, and ammunition, which has significantly strengthened the Ukrainian army's defense capabilities. In addition, the US side provides training for the Ukrainian military, helping them to master the latest military technologies.
In addition to military assistance, the United States is actively supporting Ukraine economically, allocating funds to stabilize the economy, restore critical infrastructure, and help internally displaced persons.
Meanwhile, Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh said during a briefing that the United States would send arms shipments to Ukraine every week to make sure that all the aid remaining before the end of US President Joe Biden's term is allocated.
