The United States, in its new peace plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine, has tried to ensure that both sides win, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

"This plan was crafted to reflect the realities of the situation...to find the best win-win scenario, where both parties gain more than they must give," Leavitt notes.

"As the Trump Administration has clearly said, any deal must provide full security guarantees and deterrence for Ukraine, Europe, and Russia to ensure the end of the war, in addition to financial opportunities for Ukraine to rebuild, and for Russia to rejoin the global economy, to benefit the people in both countries," she says.

The White House spokesperson notes that this will be a win-win for the people of both countries.

US peace plan

American and Russian officials have developed a 28-point plan to end the war in Ukraine. US President Donald Trump has approved it.

Yesterday, November 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially received the draft plan from the US and plans to discuss it with Trump in the near future.

Meanwhile, Axios has revealed the full text of the peace plan. The US is calling on Ukraine and Russia to sign it in the near future.

The White House acknowledged that the plan is not easy for Ukraine, but said that the US believes the war must end and that if it does not, Ukraine is likely to lose even more territory.

At the same time, the European Union is disappointed with the US approach to resolving the war in Ukraine and the very bad peace plan, which requires concessions from Kyiv.

Therefore, European leaders are developing their own plan to end the war in Ukraine, which should be more beneficial for Kyiv.
