The United States and Israel carried out a strike on the Shahid Ahmadian-Roshan uranium enrichment complex in the Iranian city of Natanz on the morning of March 21, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization reports.

“The Shahid Ahmadi Roshan enrichment complex in Natanz was attacked this morning,” the organization said.

It was noted that no radiation leaks were recorded as a result of the missile strike.

There is no threat to residents of nearby areas.

At the same time, Iran stated that the attack on the uranium enrichment facility violates the provisions of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

US and Israel operation against Iran

It should be recalled that the Israel Defense Forces plan to continue their military campaign against Iran for several more weeks.

At the same time, the United States acknowledges differences in approaches to the war. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard previously noted that Israel is focused on eliminating Iran’s leadership, while Washington is targeting military infrastructure.

US President Donald Trump earlier stated that the United States had effectively “won” the war against Iran, but emphasized that the operation is still ongoing and pressure on Tehran will continue.

Washington is also considering reducing its military presence in the Middle East after achieving its objectives regarding Iran and neutralizing the threat posed by the country.
