Unknown vehicle crashes into Biden's motorcade: Details
On Sunday evening, December 17, an unknown vehicle collided with the motorcade of the President of the United States, Joe Biden. As a result of the accident, the President and the First Lady were unharmed, according to Reuters.
The incident occurred in the city of Wilmington, Delaware, around 8:00 PM local time. According to eyewitness accounts, a car collided with an SUV from the President's security convoy.
Secret Service agents quickly surrounded the culprit of the accident, who obstructed traffic on the street, drew their weapons, and pointed them at the driver.
Subsequently, the Secret Service agents escorted the shocked Biden to his car.
The accident happened after the meeting of the President and First Lady with members of the pre-election team at the campaign headquarters. They safely returned to their home in Wilmington and are in good condition.
