In the village of Oleksandrivka, Chernihiv region, today, June 28, a child was injured due to the explosion of an unknown object, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"In the village of Oleksandrivka, an 11-year-old boy picked up an unknown object, which exploded in his hands," the statement says.

Rescuers added that the child was hospitalized with injuries.

The State Emergency Service also urged parents to remind children about the danger of unknown objects. In particular, if a suspicious or explosive object is found - do not approach it, do not touch it, and immediately call 101.

Other accidents

Today in the village of Stavyshche, the Kharkiv region, children were also injured. In particular, two children were hospitalized after an unknown object detonated.

"Preliminarily, an unknown object detonated, which the boys found near the yard. The victims are 12 and 15 years old. The younger boy sustained an open head injury and the 15-year-old teenager suffered a burn to his hand," noted the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
