Operators of the unmanned systems forces (SBS) from the Asgard Battalion of the 412th Nemesis Brigade destroyed two enemy Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile systems in a single night, according to a post from the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ SBS unit on Telegram.

"On one of the key directions, pilots from the Asgard Battalion of the 412th Nemesis Brigade struck two enemy Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile systems, with a total value of around $50 million," the statement reads.

The Ukrainian defenders carried out the strike using middle-range drones (50–300+ km) at a significant distance from the frontline.

The Ukrainian unmanned systems forces (SBS) reported that since the beginning of the year, operators of the 412th Nemesis Brigade have already destroyed 13 Russian surface-to-air missile systems and radar stations that were part of the enemy’s air defense network.

Destruction of enemy equipment

Recently, SBS operators destroyed six air defense missile systems and radar stations within 48 hours. This equipment formed the core of the enemy’s so-called layered air defense.

It is worth noting that SBS units recently destroyed the rare Russian electronic warfare system KOP-2. Only two drones were needed to strike this very expensive system.

Earlier, unmanned systems forces targeted the Russian electronic warfare station R-330Zh Zhitel, valued at around $10 million.

Additionally, on the night of January 13, SBS forces attacked energy infrastructure in occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region, and destroyed an ammunition depot in Makiivka.

It was also recently reported that the unmanned systems forces thwarted a Russian offensive on one of the key directions. Operators repelled the attack, striking enemy infantry, armored vehicles, and a ground-based robotic system.
