Fighters of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces struck a Russian R-330Zh Zhitel electronic warfare station. Its cost is estimated at $10 million, the 413th Unmanned Systems Regiment reports.
According to the military, the R-330Zh Zhitel is a Russian electronic warfare station designed to intercept and suppress communication channels of UAVs and other aircraft at a distance of up to 25 km, and control channels at up to 50 km.
"As a result of a successful operation, operators of the 413th Unmanned Systems Regiment struck the antennas of the system. This means its complete disablement and loss of combat capabilities," the statement said.
The cost of one Zhitel system is estimated at approximately $10 million. The loss of each such station is particularly painful for the enemy, as its production requires complex electronics and takes at least several months.
As noted by the unit, the destruction of the R-330Zh Zhitel opens space for the Ukrainian Defense Forces to use UAVs, including for strikes on targets deep in the rear of the occupying forces.
In field conditions, the station can be powered by an electric generator or, if possible, from a stationary power grid.
Structurally, the R-330Zh Zhitel consists of two modules: a mobile command post on a Ural chassis and a towed module with transmitting antenna arrays.
As can be seen in the published video, the strike hit the antennas.

Other successful operations by the Unmanned Systems Forces
The Unmanned Systems Forces are making a major contribution to the destruction of the Russian forces in Ukraine.
Earlier, servicemen of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a rare Russian electronic warfare system, KOP-2 (Detection and Suppression Complex-2). Only two drones were needed to hit the very expensive system.
And in November, during a drone attack on Russia, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time shot down a Russian helicopter using a deep-strike drone. The Russian Mi-8 was shot down near Kuteynikovo in Russia's Rostov region.
There were also reports of the destruction of warehouses with Shahed drones, a pontoon crossing, and enemy equipment.
