Ukrainian pilots of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol carried out drone strikes on enemy equipment in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the press service of the brigade reports.

"Enemy guns burned brightly after precise strikes by our UAVs. The brigade's pilots continue to methodically destroy enemy artillery - coldly, accurately, without unnecessary words," the statement says.

In particular, Ukrainian pilots succeeded in destroying:

  • an enemy field ammunition depot;
  • five 2A65 Msta-B howitzers.

Russian losses in war

Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russian forces have lost 1.029 million troops.

Just in the past day, July 8, enemy losses amounted to another 1,050 military personnel. Ukrainian fighters also eliminated:

  • five tanks;
  • two armored fighting vehicles;
  • 68 artillery systems, among other equipment.

Meanwhile, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine shared footage showing how operators of the attack drones of the Prime UAV military unit targeted Russia's equipment in the Kursk direction.
