During the night of November 7, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck Russian military targets. Among those hit in the Bryansk region were two Iskander launchers and a Pantsir-S1 system, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces struck two Iskander tactical ballistic missile system launchers in Russia’s Bryansk region. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
The Russian army uses these systems to launch missile strikes against Ukraine. They are capable of launching ballistic missiles that Russia uses to attack Ukrainian cities. Hitting the launchers could limit Russia’s capabilities in this direction.
Ukrainian forces also struck a Pantsir-S1 air defense gun-missile system in the Bryansk region. It is designed to protect military and other facilities from aerial attacks.
What other Russian targets came under attack
Ukrainian forces also attacked Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied territories.
In the Luhansk region, the Defense Forces struck enemy logistics and supply depots. They are located near Sokolohirsk and Zaaidarivka.
Another target was a concentration point for Russian drone operators. Ukrainian forces attacked it near Novobohdanivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
"Operations against key enemy military targets will continue until Russia completely ceases its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff concluded.
Earlier, during the night of November 7, Ukrainian forces struck the Russian military-industrial complex enterprise Proton-Electrotex in Oryol with Neptune missiles.
Following a nighttime drone attack, a fire broke out at Rosneft’s Saratov oil refinery.
