Operators of the attack drones of the Prime unit from the 5th Border Guard Detachment targeted Russia's equipment in the Kursk direction, informs the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

As a result of the successful operation, the fighters destroyed:

  • 1 armored vehicle;
  • 3 transport vehicles;
  • a mortar crew position;
  • an enemy drone takeoff and control site;
  • 3 dugouts;
  • 8 enemy shelters.

Ukraine's border guards also eliminated seven Russian soldiers.

Frontline situation

According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), on July 1, there were 146 combat engagements along the front. The Russians stepped up their pressure most heavily in the Pokrovsk direction.

Also, today, the General Staff showed for the first time on battle maps the enemy's advance in the Sumy region.

Since the beginning of the war, the Russians have lost more than 1.02 million personnel. Specifically, the enemy's losses over the past day reached another 970 soldiers.
