Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 1: About 1,000 soldiers and a lot of equipment

In the past 24 hours, from June 30 to July 1, Russian forces suffered the loss of 970 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 36 artillery systems, 144 drones, and 103 vehicles, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to June 30, 2025, are estimated to be
- personnel - about 1,020,980 (+970) people wounded/killed;
- tanks - 10,983 (+3) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,928 (+6) units;
- artillery systems - 29,754 (+36) units;
- MLRS - 1,427 units;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,190 units;
- aircraft - 420 units;
- helicopters - 340 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 42,940 (+144) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,436 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 53,696 (+103) units;
- special equipment - 3,921 units.

As of the evening of June 30, there were 111 recorded combat engagements over the past 24 hours, with the Pokrovsk direction being the most active.
In this area, enemy forces attempted 30 times to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses near the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Razine, Novotoretske, Myrne, Promin, Novoserhiivka, Volodymyrivka, Myrolyubivka, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Udachne, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka.
