As of 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time on June 30, a total of 111 combat engagements had taken place on the front line over the day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The heaviest fighting was reported in the Pokrovsk direction.

Enemy attacks

During the day, the Russian army launched 49 airstrikes, using 77 guided bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 1,256 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,754 artillery strikes targeting Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements.

Frontline situation

In the Pokrovsk direction, enemy forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 30 times in the areas of Rusyn Yar, Razine, Novotoretske, Myrne, Promin, Novoserhiivka, Volodymyrivka, Myrolyubivka, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Udachne, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

“Today, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 101 enemy combatants in this sector, 67 of them irreversibly. They also destroyed nine vehicles, four motorcycles, fourteen drones, and three satellite terminals. Additionally, an enemy howitzer and a motorcycle were damaged,” the report states.

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian attacks. Since the start of the day, the enemy launched two airstrikes, dropping a total of five guided bombs, and carried out 168 artillery strikes, including eight from multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, our troops stopped seven enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Zelene, Hlyboke, and toward Petro-Ivanivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched three offensive actions against Ukrainian defensive positions near Holubivka and Pishchane. Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack, while two combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times throughout the day near the settlements of Torske, Bilohorivka, Kolodiazi, Novyi Myr, Novovodiane, Ridkodub, and in the directions of Serednie, Shandryholove, and Olhivka. Four clashes remain unresolved as of now.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Hryhorivka and Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, five combat engagements have been recorded so far. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, and toward Bila Hora. One of these clashes is still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched four attacks on the Defense Forces' positions. The main focus of their offensive was in the areas around Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Yablunivka. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy assaults.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked 13 times near the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Komar, Perebudova, Piddubne, Fedorivka, Shevchenko, and Novopil. Our defenders successfully stopped sixteen attacks, with two combat engagements still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the aggressor launched one attack, attempting to advance near Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful attack.

On other fronts, the situation has seen no significant changes.

Russian army losses

In the past 24 hours, from June 29 to June 30, Russian forces lost an additional 1,070 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed three helicopters, 42 missiles, and 172 drones.

Since the full-scale invasion began, Russian military casualties, including both killed and wounded, have reportedly surpassed one million personnel.
