Situation in the Dobropillia direction

Russian forces spread fake reports claiming control over Dobropillia near Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region, but the Ukrainian General Staff denied the claims.

Ukrainian forces emphasized that the city remains under the control of the Defense Forces. The enemy previously attempted to breach the defenses and advance toward Dobropillia but was repelled after sustaining losses.

In particular, Border Guards and the National Guard successfully repelled an assault involving around 20 Russian soldiers and nine ATVs.

Early on Monday, December 22, Ukrainian forces recorded four Russian columns advancing toward Dobropillia in the 1st Corps Azov sector. The assault was successfully repelled.
