Situation on the Dobropillia direction
Russian occupying forces have recently spread fake information claiming that they had allegedly established control over Dobropillia near Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has officially denied these claims.
The General Staff emphasized that the reports circulated by Russian propaganda do not reflect the real situation, and that the settlement remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
It was also reported earlier that Russian units attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses and advance toward Dobropillia, but suffered losses and were repelled.
Recently, we also reported that on the Dobropillia direction, Ukrainian border guards repelled an attempted assault by Russian invaders. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the enemy involved about 20 troops and nine quad bikes in the attack.
However, border guards of the Chernihiv Detachment, together with National Guard fighters, acted quickly and in a coordinated manner, as a result of which the assault was repelled.
