Ukrainian swimmer Bukhov in World Championship semifinal - When is his next race?

The World Aquatics Championships are ongoing in Singapore. The sixth day of swimming competitions began on August 1. The only Ukrainian to make it to the semifinals is Vladyslav Bukhov, who continues competing in his signature event. Here are the results of the competition.
Successful qualification in sprint
In the 50m freestyle, Bukhov finished with a time of 21.83 seconds, which earned him 11th place among all competitors and a spot in the semifinals. The Ukrainian swimmer will race again later today, August 1.
In this event, Vladyslav will be competing for a spot in the final against top contenders like Santo Condorelli, Benjamin Proud, Jack Alexy, and others.
Not all races were successful
Earlier, Bukhov also competed in the 100m freestyle qualifications but placed only 47th and did not advance further.
Other Ukrainian swimmers also failed to make it to the semifinals. For example, Denys Kesil finished 18th in the 200m butterfly (1:56.51) and placed 31st in the individual medley at the same distance. In the 100m butterfly, Kesil came in 38th (53.05 seconds).
Global-level surprises
The stars of world swimming made headlines on this day with some surprising results. Olympic silver medalist Josh Liendo unexpectedly ended his run in the 50m freestyle during the qualification round, finishing 30th with a time of 22.22 seconds. Meanwhile, Olympic champion Cameron McEvoy advanced to the final.
Among the women, standout performances came from Australia’s Kaylee McKeown (2:08.01 in the 200m backstroke), American Gretchen Walsh (25.22 in the 50m butterfly), and the legendary Katie Ledecky, who won her 800m freestyle heat.
