On the night of March 23, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Kyiv. The attack resulted in damage across several districts of the city, with fatalities and injuries reported, reports the Ukrainian State Emergency Service.

Dniprovskyi district

Emergency services reported that a fire on the upper floors of a 9-story building, spreading to the roof, was extinguished in the Dniprovskyi district. The fire covered an area of 100 square meters. A woman was reported dead, and 27 people were evacuated from the building.

At another address, on the 6th floor of a 16-story building, a window, floor, and ceiling of one of the apartments were damaged.

Podilskyi district

A fire was extinguished on the 20th floor of a 25-story residential building, covering an area of 20 square meters.

Holosiivskyi district

The fire in a 4-story office and warehouse building, spanning 2,000 square meters, is still being put out.

However, a fire in a residential trailer and several trucks, covering 60 square meters, has already been extinguished. Unfortunately, it is known that one person died.

Desnianskyi district

A fire was recorded in an open area within a forest belt in this district.

Shevchenkivskyi district

The State Emergency Service informed that two passenger cars were damaged due to the enemy attack.

The emergency services informed that as of 02:55 (according to the post), it is known that two people have died in Kyiv. Before this, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported that, according to his data, at least seven people were injured in the city. The State Emergency Service noted that the information regarding the consequences of the attack on the injured is still being clarified at this time.

Starting from the evening of March 22 until the night of March 23, two series of explosions were heard in Kyiv amid a Russian drone attack on the capital.
