Building burns in Kyiv due to Russian drone attack

On the night of March 23, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones. A residential building is on fire in the Dniprovskyi district, according to the Telegram channel of Kyiv’s military administration chief, Timur Tkachenko, and the channel of Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.
"According to preliminary information, a hostile drone hit a multi-story building in the Dniprovskyi district. Emergency services are heading to the scene. Information about casualties is being confirmed," Tkachenko wrote at 00:27.
A few minutes later, Klitschko confirmed the information, noting that debris struck a residential building, causing a fire on the upper floors.
"Emergency services are heading to the scene. Air defense forces are active in the capital. Do not leave shelters," Klitschko added.
Timur Tkachenko informed that debris has also been reported to fall in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. Information regarding casualties and damages is currently being confirmed.
"Preliminarily, in the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell on a non-residential building. All services are heading to the scene. The enemy’s attack on Kyiv is ongoing. Do not leave shelters," Klitschko reported.
Since the evening of March 22, Kyiv has already heard two rounds of explosions amid the threat of drone strikes.

Tkachенко wrote that the information about the second fall of debris in the Podil district on the 16th floor of a residential building has not been confirmed.

The Mayor of Kyiv reported that as of this moment, seven people have been injured in the capital. One of them was hospitalized, and the others received medical assistance at the scene.
