Ukrainian special operations forces conducted a successful mission in the Donetsk region, during which they eliminated several Russian soldiers and captured enemy communication devices and documents, according to a post by the Special Operations Forces.

A group from the 8th regiment of the special operations forces carried out a special mission in the Donetsk region. The soldiers were tasked with moving beyond the front line, conducting reconnaissance behind enemy lines, and performing direct action operations.

The subsequent success of neighboring Ukrainian units in this sector depended on the actions of the special forces.

"Ukrainian operators attacked the enemy from behind. The result was the following: three Russians eliminated, enemy communications equipment, documents, and navigation tools captured, and improved situational awareness," the statement said.

As a result of the mission's success, favorable conditions were created for further operations in this part of the front.

Other successful operations of the special forces soldiers

Earlier, in the Northern Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian special forces advanced beyond the front line and infiltrated occupied territory.

After reconnaissance, special forces fighters carried out a raid, destroying Russian troops in their dugouts and firing positions.

Previously, in Yampil, Donetsk region, special forces destroyed Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to gain a foothold in the settlement.

Before that, special operations forces operators eliminated three Russian soldiers during an attempted advance in the Kupiansk direction.
