Ukrainian special forces foil Russian offensive near Kupiansk: Operation details revealed

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces operators thwarted a Russian attempt to advance in the Kupiansk direction. During the operation, fighters from the 8th Special Operations Forces Regiment destroyed 3 Russian troops, according to the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Kupiansk direction, a group of soldiers from the 8th Separate Regiment of Special Operations Forces prevented Russian troops from advancing.
Ukrainian defenders drove Russians into buildings with FPV drone strikes. After that, the Ukrainian operators cleared several buildings where the Russians were holed up.
As a result, 3 Russian servicemen were killed, and the rest were forced to retreat.
Situation on the front line
Over the past day, there have been 200 battles between Ukrainian and Russian forces.
The largest number of Russian assaults was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions.
In addition, over the past day, Russia lost 1,010 soldiers.
Ukrainian defense forces also destroyed 2 Russian tanks, 5 armored vehicles, 26 artillery systems, one MLRS, an air defense system, 401 tactical-level drones, and 75 Russian vehicles.
