Ukrainian Special Forces destroy Russian EW station with HIMARS
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have discovered a Russian electronic warfare station Sinitsa in the Kupiansk direction. It was destroyed by a HIMARS strike, according to the command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Operators of the 3rd separate regiment of the Special Forces during a special reconnaissance in the Kupiansk direction discovered an enemy R-934B Sinytsia electronic warfare station," the statement says.
The crew of the unmanned aerial vehicle adjusted and directed HIMARS fire from an artillery unit of the Defense Forces at the target.
"As a result of the fire damage, the electronic warfare station was destroyed," the SOF adds.
Ukrainian defense forces destroy Russians
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, December 5, amounted to 1,030 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 333,840.
Also, after a break, the occupiers resumed the use of Su-25 attack aircraft and Ka-52 helicopters in the Tavria direction. At the same time, the enemy continues to suffer significant losses, with more than 400 invaders and 21 pieces of equipment destroyed in this area over the last day.
Yesterday, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian ammunition depot and equipment in the Svatove district of the Luhansk region.
